Going back to the Tribble mine one more time.
A pretty good and fun story about a science experiment run amok – not a new story in SF (or even Trek), but well implemented with some good characters. Edward Larkin is fun as the mad scientist, and Captain Lyceko is mostly a good character. My main objection is that Captain Lyceko is a bad manager – she mocks her staff in front of others, tries to transfer problems away, and doesn’t listen to people and benefit from their expertise. I expect better from Star Fleet!
