Sisko obsessively chases after the traitor Eddington.
OK, so the ‘obsessed with a goal’ plot isn’t exactly new. But it’s well delivered, and we get a glimpse at a darker side of Sisko’s personality. Eddington is also a great villain – I hope we see him again. Bonus points for using *Les Miserables* rather than *Moby Dick* as the analogy.
The only problem I had was the ‘pretend serialisation’ – if Sisko was really that obsessed, surely we’d have heard something about it in the past dozen or so episodes?
